In a decisive move towards strengthening its digital defenses, JSW Group has appointed cybersecurity veteran Manish Sehgal as the Head of Information Security. In this pivotal role, Manish will lead the strategic direction and execution of cybersecurity governance and risk management across all JSW business verticals, including steel, energy, cement, infrastructure, paints, and mobility.
With over 20 years of expertise spanning information security, risk frameworks, and digital trust, Manish is widely respected for his ability to build business-aligned, scalable security architectures in dynamic enterprise environments. His appointment signals JSW’s deepened commitment to integrating cybersecurity into the fabric of its expansive and rapidly evolving digital ecosystem.

Before joining JSW, Manish was the Chief Information Security Officer and Vice President – Customer Experience at CloudSEK, where he focused on securing AI-driven digital risk monitoring platforms and delivering actionable threat intelligence. His leadership was instrumental in enhancing customer trust and operational resilience across multiple sectors.
Previously, Manish held senior positions at AU Small Finance Bank, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, VFS Global, and Wipro, where he steered large-scale cybersecurity initiatives, governance frameworks, data privacy programs, and incident response protocols. His career is marked by a strong understanding of sectoral nuances, having worked across BFSI, IT services, travel, and cloud security domains.
At JSW, his mandate includes driving enterprise-wide cyber risk strategies, leading compliance initiatives, developing threat management protocols, and creating frameworks for secure innovation. As JSW continues to digitize its operations—from smart manufacturing in steel to digital customer journeys in paints and mobility—Manish’s role will be central to balancing risk with agility.
