Infopercept Consulting Pvt Ltd announced the appointment of Prashant Pratap Singh as Director of Sales for Government and PSU Business.

With 28 years of experience in sales and marketing roles across various stages of start-ups and established brands, Prashant brings a wealth of knowledge in technology and solutions sales within the government and PSU verticals. Before joining Infopercept, Prashant played a significant role in establishing business in these sectors for various technology players such as Dynatrace, Appnomic Systems, Inc, Sanovi Technologies, Hitachi Data Systems, etc. At Infopercept, he will be responsible for increasing the company’s foothold in the government and PSU sectors with its cybersecurity platform, 'Invinsense.'

“Cybersecurity is crucial for all sectors, but it is of utmost importance for the government and PSUs,” said Jaydeep Ruparelia, CEO of Infopercept. “These sectors are prone to large-scale cyberattacks, which may be driven by significant and potentially damaging intentions such as nation-state attacks. Such coordinated and lethal attacks require a consolidated platform that covers all aspects of cybersecurity: offensive security, defensive security, and security compliance. Infopercept has consolidated all these aspects into our platform called ‘Invinsense,’ which is made in India and understands the Indian context and landscape much better. Considering the high stakes in these sectors, 'Make in India' is the most relevant approach for cybersecurity.”

Speaking on the appointment, Ruparelia added, “Protecting government and PSU organizations with our comprehensive cybersecurity platform-based managed security services is part of our efforts to enhance the cybersecurity postures of these mission-critical organizations. We sought a leader who could help us serve these entities. With Prashant, we found the best fit, who understands this vertical, its functioning, and its expectations from technologies.”

Speaking about his new role, Prashant said, “I have worked in this domain at various levels, representing different technologies. The expectations of a government organization or a PSU from a technology, especially from a critical technology like cybersecurity, are much higher and cover a wider spectrum. The way Infopercept has built a comprehensive platform from India, which aligns with these expectations, assures me that we will be able to provide the required value proposition to this domain. I am excited to be a part of Infopercept's vision to establish India as a leader in cybersecurity platforms that can address global challenges.”
