The 29th edition of the Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) 2026, Asia’s largest integrated technology event, will be held from 17- 19 November 2026 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), Bengaluru, under the theme ‘AI & Beyond’

As a curtain raiser to BTS 2026, the Government of Karnataka hosted an Open Dialogue with Industry in New Delhi today at Taj Palace, bringing together key stakeholders from the Delhi-NCR technology ecosystem. The programme was graced by Shri Priyank Kharge, Hon’ble Minister for Information Technology & Biotechnology and Rural Development & Panchayat Raj, who engaged with industry leaders.

The dialogue brought together industry captains, startup founders, unicorn leaders, investors, and R&D stakeholders across IT, DeepTech, ESDM, and life sciences. It also saw participation from key industry associations, including STPI, NASSCOM, IESA, TiE, IVCA, and ABLE, who shared their perspectives with the Government of Karnataka leadership on opportunities and challenges shaping India’s technology landscape. Discussions reflected diverse viewpoints across sectors such as AI, semiconductors, electric mobility, fintech, digital infrastructure, and other emerging technologies.

Shri Priyank Kharge emphasized Karnataka’s role as a global innovation hub and invited stakeholders to actively participate in shaping the next phase of technological transformation through BTS 2026. Dr. N Manjula, IAS, Secretary, Dept. of Elec, IT, Bt and S&T, Govt. of Karnataka, gave an overview of the Karnataka tech ecosystem during her address.

The programme also featured addresses by Shri Ateesh Kumar Singh, Additional Secretary, DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce, Government of India; Dr. Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Chairperson, Biocon Group & Chairperson, Biotech Vision Group, Government of Karnataka; Shri Arvind Kumar, Director General, Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), along with remarks by Ms. Debjani Ghosh, NITI Aayog.

Also present at the occasion were Shri Rahul Sankanur, IAS, Managing Director, Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS), Director, Dept. of Elec, IT and Bt, Govt. of Karnataka; Shri Sanjeev Gupta, CEO, Karnataka Digital Economy Mission, and Jagdish Patankar, Executive Chairman, MM Activ Sci-Tech Communications.

BTS 2026, organized by the Department of Electronics, IT, Bt, Govt. of Karnataka, is expected to bring together 1,800+ exhibitors, 25,000+ delegates, 1,000+ startups, and over 60,000 business visitors from more than 75 countries, making it one of the most influential global platforms for technology, innovation, and collaboration.

The three-day summit will feature a dynamic conference programme across 16 thematic tracks, including AI & DeepTech, Fintech, Health & Biotech, Spacetech, India Innovation Conclave, and Global Collaboration, along with emerging focus areas such as Digital Infrastructure & Data Centers, Circular Economy, Orange Economy, and Electric Mobility.

A key highlight of this year’s edition is the co-location of the inaugural Embedded World India, featuring a conference track and exhibition pavilion on Electronics and Semiconductors. Organized in association with NuernbergMesse India, this collaboration will strengthen synergies between global hardware innovation and India’s rapidly growing semiconductor and electronics ecosystem.

The summit will host a large-scale multi-pavilion exhibition showcasing breakthrough innovations across sectors, alongside curated networking platforms, investor connect initiatives, and global partnerships. A key highlight will be the Future Makers programme, designed to spotlight high-potential startups and connect them with investors, mentors, and global markets. The programme will feature investor pitching sessions, one-on-one mentoring clinics, thematic discussions on scaling and fundraising, and the Future Makers Conclave, bringing together a diverse community of founders, innovators, and changemakers.

With its expanded scale and forward-looking agenda, BTS 2026 will continue to serve as a premier platform for driving innovation, enabling collaboration, and accelerating business opportunities, reinforcing Karnataka’s position as a global leader in technology and shaping the future of the digital economy.
