

Arundhati Bhattacharya, CEO and Chairperson of Salesforce India, has been appointed as the CEO of the newly formed Salesforce South Asia Operating Unit. This strategic appointment aligns with Salesforce’s efforts to streamline operations and foster growth ranging from India to Southeast Asia (ASEAN). The restructuring aims to enhance integration and capitalize on the opportunities in these rapidly dynamic markets.
The new South Asia Operating section will supervise Salesforce’s operations in Sri Lanka, India, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Thailand. In her new role, Bhattacharya is expected to spearhead collaboration and the company’s ambition to achieve success in India, while creating a unified strategy to expand in the targeted regions. Bhattacharya will continue her workaround for the company from the key strategic location - India.
In the restructuring process, Arun Kumar Parameswaran, Managing Director (MD) of Salesforce Sales Division, India has been assigned to lead the ASEAN sales team and will continue to report to Ms. Bhattacharya. The ongoing development ensures persistent leadership and consistent operations in the new structure.
Under Bhattacharya’s leadership, Salesforce has seen outstanding growth in the Indian market, demonstrating remarkable achievements in business development and revenue. The company has applied proven strategies in the Indian market, having aimed to crack similar opportunities across targeted regions in the currently operating unit.
