Bharat Ke Super Founders has recorded the largest funding deal ever seen on Indian startup television, with ReGrip, India’s largest integrated tyre waste management company, raising ₹20.25 crore on the show.

The landmark investment underlines growing investor confidence in ReGrip’s scalable, sustainability-led business model, which combines environmental impact with strong commercial fundamentals.

The funding includes ₹15.25 crore in equity for a 13.2 percent stake and ₹5 crore in debt, taking the total investment to ₹20.25 crore. The largest equity contribution came from Red Bricks Capital with an investment of ₹8.9 crore, followed by Auxan with ₹2.5 crore, Upaya or Chakra Rel with ₹90 lakh, and Binge or Aryan with ₹20 lakh. Individual investors participating on the show also committed capital, including Ankur Mittal with ₹2 crore, Dr Velumani with ₹25 lakh, Nitish M with ₹25 lakh, and Arti G with ₹25 lakh.

Founded by Tushar Suhalka, ReGrip was created to address a critical gap in India’s waste management ecosystem. With millions of tyres discarded annually and limited organised processing infrastructure, the company focuses on building a circular solution that converts tyre waste into usable fuel and energy while maintaining long-term commercial viability.

Today, ReGrip operates across 40 cities in India, managing the complete lifecycle of discarded tyres, from collection and refurbishment to recycling and energy generation. The company also holds India’s largest licence to operate a waste-to-energy tyre-to-fuel plant, positioning sustainability as a core growth driver rather than a compliance requirement.

ReGrip’s journey reflects the founder-first ethos that Bharat Ke Super Founders aims to showcase. In July 2021, just ahead of his wedding, Tushar Suhalka stepped away from his job to pursue entrepreneurship, incorporating ReGrip shortly thereafter. Launched during the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, the company was initially bootstrapped and has since recorded 100 percent year-on-year growth, achieving profitability within three years.

Beyond capital, the show enabled ReGrip to access strategic mentorship and guidance, helping sharpen its expansion strategy and leadership vision. The ₹20.25 crore deal represents a defining milestone in the company’s growth journey and reinforces the role of Bharat Ke Super Founders as a platform enabling serious capital formation for high-impact businesses.

With this investment, Bharat Ke Super Founders further establishes itself as a television platform that goes beyond pitch-driven entertainment, facilitating India’s biggest on-screen startup funding outcomes while supporting founders building scalable, sustainable, and nation-critical solutions.
