Delhivery Appoints Namita Thapar and Sameer Mehta as Non-Executive Directors

Delhivery has announced the appointment of Namita Thapar, Whole-time Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited and Sameer Mehta, Co-Founder and CEO of boAt Lifestyle as Non Executive Directors to the Board of the Company.

Sameer holds a B.Com. degree from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. He founded boAt in 2014 along with cofounder Aman Gupta and has led it to become the leading consumer wearable tech brand in Globally. Prior to this, he had also co-founded and run Redwood Interactive, which owned ‘RedGear,’ a prominent gaming brand in India.

Namita is the Whole-time Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals, a global pharmaceutical company headquartered in Pune. It has a presence in 70+ countries and an employee strength of over 10,000. She is the CEO of their India Business which is ~8000 cr in annual revenue. Prior to joining the family business, Namita worked for 6 years at Guidant Corporation, USA, in their business finance team. Namita is an MBA graduate from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a Chartered Accountant from ICAI. She is one of the Sharks in the popular TV show “Shark Tank India”.
