Unboxing

Inside the large box, you'll find a mobile box, a gaming kit, and a welcome card. Upon unboxing the stylish mobile box, you'll discover a high-quality cover case, tempered glass, cleaning wipes, a 45W charging adapter, a Type-C cable, and the Infinix GT 20 Pro smartphone. The gaming kit includes a case for attaching the cooling fan, a finger sleeve, a Type-C cable, and a cooling fan designed to prevent overheating during extended gaming sessions.

Infinix GT 20 Pro: Design and Display

The mobile phone features a Cyber Mecha design with ring lights on the transparent back, giving a premium and classy look. The rear cameras are placed with neon strips cutting through the round cutouts. Plus, there is an LED light setup placed on the back and a punch whole camera on the top. Being a lightweight gaming phone, it weighs only 194 grams. On the sides, volume and power buttons are placed, while a USB Type-C port is there at the bottom. The gaming aesthetics of this phone is at par.

The Infinix GT 20 Pro comes with a dedicated chip to enhance display. The phone boasts a 6.78-inch FHD+ display at a refresh rate of 144 Hz for faster. Plus, a 94.3 percent screen-to-body ratio is provided to enhance the viewing experience. With 1300 nit peak brightness and a bezel-less AMOLED display, the device is attributed to enhance the overall gaming experience. The 360 Hz touch sampling rate works to increase the speed.

Performance and Cooling System

The smartphone boasts a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate 5G processor, optimized GPU, and improved resolution stands it out as one of the best performers in the segment. The Infinix GT 20 Pro offers AI-enhanced Variable Rate Shading technology offering dynamic rendering and improved power efficiency.  

The model offers 8GB and 12 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS3. 1 ROM for faster performance and response time. The low latency MEMC Tech ensures the phone doesn’t lag during gameplay and makes it an e-sports-level gaming phone. At our DT office, we could easily play popular games such as BGMI and Call Of Duty.

Being a gaming phone, cooling is an important quotient that is well-attended by the Infinix GT 20 Pro. For cooling, the device is given a separate cooling tool that can be stuck to its back and keep it cool. The inbuilt cooling system is also quite evolved as it offers 360-degree SoC cooling which is a 68 percent larger PCM graphic sheet. Also, it features a 73 percent larger vapor chamber and 66% thermal conductivity around SoC. Altogether, we, during the testing period of this mobile, at our DT office, never faced any heat-up problems even while playing popular games for longer hours.

Battery and Charging

The powerful 5000 mAh battery works all day after one full charge. The hyper-charging mode facilitates instant battery refill as it features 45-watt fast charging along with intelligent safety charging technology. This attribute provides an instant and secure battery charging solution. In a single full charge, we could run the phone for the whole day.

Cameras

The Infinix GT 20 Pro is backed by a 108 MP camera setup with optical image stabilization (OIS) support. The camera setup is supported by two more sensors for portrait and macro shots.

The front panel is placed with a 32MP camera in a small hole punch. Pictures captured appear a bit brighter and after opting for the AI-supported color optimization, the images come out more vibrant than real.

The GT 20 Pro smartphone is priced at INR 24,999 and 26,999 for 8+265GB and 12+256 GB respectively and available on Flipkart.
