UBON Witnessed Increased Revenue During Festive Season

Gifting orders caused UBON to experience a spike in sales. The orders for electronics brands increased dramatically, going from 10,000 in 2021 to 100,000 this Diwali.

Some of its products, such as speakers, powerbanks, smartwatches, wireless headphones were stocked out, particularly as the brand is known for its perfect product price balance which has played a huge role in the increase in gifting orders.

“Customers are moving towards gift items that are fun, classy, have a good shelf life, and come in attractive packaging. The gifting industry in India has registered strong growth this year thanks to zero restrictions and innovative products. Some of the popular product segments that have outperformed include smartwatches, fitness bands, Bluetooth speakers, earbuds, powerbanks, streaming devices, and smartphone accessories. Shoppers have thoroughly enjoyed the mass festive sales as many of them were on the lookout for good bargains and ideal gifts. To meet this trend, we were geared with an innovative range for people of all ages.

Anticipating the season ahead he further added, “As consumers today have high expectations and, at the same time  look forward to innovation in terms of new lines of gifting options, this has helped us do significantly more business than in the regular months. We remain optimistic for the ensuing festive season in terms of better sales traction, consumer connect, branding, etc.”

Due to a drop in demand since April-May and the pandemic's negative effects on sales the previous two years, Gifting in consumer electronics has gained more prominence this year. Gadget accessories like smartwatches, speakers, powerbanks have successfully engaged consumers and assisted companies like UBON in gaining a larger market share during the festive season.
