Sinch Introduces New SaaS Conversational Messaging Platform for SMBs

Sinch AB (publ), is expanding its product portfolio in India. After the acquisition of ACL Mobile, a leading provider of cloud communications services in India and Southeast Asia in 2020 the company set up a sales team for a software-as-as-service platform for conversational messaging for SMBs under the brand MessengerPeople by Sinch.

The platform – is a cloud-based software suite that makes it easy for businesses to engage with their customers via messaging apps like WhatsApp, Instagram Direct Messaging, Telegram, and Apple Business Chat (iMessage). The product was added to Sinch's portfolio in November 2022 through the acquisition of the German company MessengerPeople from Munich. Worldwide, over 800 businesses already use the MessengerPeople product to engage with their customers.

So far, we have focussed on larger enterprises, and we see huge potential in the small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs) segment. With easy-to-use applications that are designed for SMB business users, the MessengerPeople solution complements Sinch’s API-based offering for larger enterprises and channel partners. The MessengerPeople platform is particularly well-suited for pre-sales in form of WhatsApp marketing, bulk messaging, and customer care.
