The Make in India programme from the Government of India has provided the much-needed impetus to the manufacturing landscape of the country. “Combined with the improved ease of doing business ecosystem and India’s appeal as a preferred manufacturing hub, the country has transformed from an importer of electronic products to a major exporter in the past 7-8 years.
The growth in mobile manufacturing with the Make in India programme, PLI scheme and other government initiatives has been remarkable.
