FAIITA has successfully conducted its governing body elections in Chandigarh today. The elections took place during the last day of CCTA IT Expo 2022 at Hotel Shivalik View, Chandigarh. All the state associations were eagerly waiting for these elections to be held. These elections were attended by the representative of all the regional associations across India. The entire election process were conducted under the supervision of Mr. Sanjiv Walia.
The term of FAIITA Governing body is always of 2 years, but the last working team took an extension for six months to complete the pending projects and procedures which were pending due to COVID Pandemic. FAIITA has representation from 25 states & union territories of India having membership of more than 100 members.
As the elections have been completed so the new team has been elected for the next term. Mr. Devesh Rastogi who was serving as Sr. Vice President of FAIITA now has been elected as the new president. Mr. Navin Gupta has been again elected as the General Secretary and S Karthikeyan will be the Sr. Vice President.
As newly elected President, Mr. Devesh Rastogi will be responsible to establish a harmonious environment among IT fraternity and take the industry ahead. Under the guidance of Devesh Rastogi, FAIITA is expected to grow at even more pace which will help the offline partners who are the key pillars of the IT industry. So far, he has played a very crucial role in developing impactful strategies in the interests of offline channel partner community. Devesh Rastogi is an IT industry veteran having a wide experience of more than 42 years. Devesh is leading Devlok Group which is a well-known name across UP in the IT products segment. He is also the mentor of the Uttar Pradesh Computer Dealer & Trader Association (UPCDTA).
Sharing his pleasure with DT over becoming the new President, Mr. Devesh Rastogi said, “I am extremely happy to take this position as new President. I would like to thank the FAIITA members, channel partners and all IT associations who have voted for me. I will work for the betterment of the partner community and will take all necessary steps towards a positive growth of the industry.”
Mr. Navin Gupta has been again elected as General Secretary of FAIITA. He has led the association to new heights with his brilliant leadership skills. Mr. Navin keeps decades of experience in the Indian IT industry. Mr. Navin Gupta regularly pays attention to the grievances of the offline channel community and endeavors to find effective solutions.
While talking to DT, Mr. Navin Gupta said, “I am honored to become the General Secretary again. I will be working to support the channel partner community and take their growth forward. I want to thank all the state associations and channel partners for their trust.”
S Karthikeyan who was earlier the Vice President has secured the post of Sr. Vice President of FAIITA. He is a dynamic leader and works for the betterment of offline channel community. He has vast experience in Indian IT industry and now as the governing body member of FAIITA will make sure to take the channel partner community growth to new heights.
Mr. Karthikeyan also shared his happiness while talking to DT. He said, “I am very much happy to be the Sr. Vice President and looking forward to work with more energy. I will try to fulfil the expectations of the offline channel partner community”
The outgoing President Mr. Kaushik Pandya has greeted all members and wished them a successful tenure. Under his leadership, the association grew strength to strength. He played a very instrumental role in the association. Kaushik Pandya is a successful IT entrepreneur and managing a networking solution and system integration company named Kalp Systems in Ahmedabad for the last 30 years. He is a dynamic business leader with a strong understanding of the market.
Whereas Mr. Deepak Bommisetty has been elected as Jnt. Secretary & Media Coordinator FAIITA. Deepak will be responsible for all media communications officially on behalf of FAIITA.
