Rajeev: How has been the journey so far Acer Memory products since its launch in Indian market?
Rajesh: Its been over a year since we launched Acer Memory products in India. Initially the journey was very turbulent due to Covid lockdowns. However, once the market opened up, we have witnessed a huge acceptance of Acer SSD’s & Acer Dram’s. Infact the Nvme SSD ( FA 100 ) series has seen an excellent adoption in the PC upgrade market .Covid induced shift in work culture led to “Work from home“. This augmented by online /digital adoption made high speed and robust SSD in big demand. We have been very successful at placing these products at key counters in markets all over India. We also won recognition awards from the industry forums. We would like to thank the Indian channel partners and consumers for helping us. We remain bullish for coming months for Acer Memory products.
Rajeev: What is the strength of BIWIN which helps you grow despite huge competition?
Rajesh: BIWIN is globally one of the top companies in DRAM and Flash Storage field for the last 25+ years and with in-house IC packaging capability. We have already completed over billion+ IC packaging with 99.7% yield rate. We also have close partnership with all the original vendors in Flash and DRAM. BIWIN products and services include SSDs, embedded storage chips, memory cards, memory modules, and customization services. Acer is a leading brand known to Indian Consumers. Rajeev: How are you working with Fortune marketing to make your products easily available to your customers across India? How is Fortune’s wide network of resellers and retailers help you reach to a large customer base?
Rajesh: We are working along with Fortune Marketing to leverage its wide network of Sub-distributers, resellers, retailer and e-commerce partners. Fortune Marketing Private Limited is a 26 years old company based out at the heart of India’s capital. It is one of the leaders in distribution business across India. Present across the Nation, Fortune Marketing works with their 24 operational branches which caters to end-to-end requirements of the customers. Fortune has one of the largest sales and distribution networks in the country and provides value added distribution for partners including last mile connect and support across marketing and promotions for Networking, IT, Security & Surveillance, Storage solutions and electronics products covering more than 7000 towns across 664 districts in India.
Rajeev: How has been the response for HP branded SSDs so far?
Rajesh: We have seen excellent response to HP branded SSDs as well. We have expanded our reach for HP branded storage products by leveraging the strength of our national distributers viz- UR Distree Pvt ltd. and Fortune Marketing Pvt Ltd. along with their wide network of channel partners and retailers and e-tailers.
Rajeev: Please tell about your upcoming product launches. What are your plans for boosting the sales in coming months?
Rajesh: We are working on launching a wide portfolio of storage products such as UHS-I, UHS-II SD cards, CFexpress memory cards & USB external storage products. Details of the same will be shared as and when available.
