The Indian PC market is growing well and we have seen the demand coming from each key vertical. Recent reports from IDC for Q12022 are quite encouraging as we saw overall PC shipment grew well and all together 4.3 Million PCs were shipped in the Indian market. As per this recent report, HP is undisputed leader currently whereas Dell is number two player and Lenovo number three.

HP is one of the leading PC brands in India and caters to a large number of customers across all verticals. Since last many quarters, HP has been able to maintain its leadership position in the market with its highly reliable and performance-oriented PCs.

Expressing his pleasure over achieving this huge milestone, Ketan Patel, MD, HP India said, “We sincerely thank our customers and partners for continuing to choose HP year after year. It is the trust that has helped us sustain our leadership in India’s PC market yet again. It gives us great satisfaction to empower the customers and enable them to engage digitally when they need the most- to work, learn, play and entertain. HP remains uniquely well-positioned on the back of a line-up that responds to the evolving needs of our customers.”

HP Inc. shipped over 1.4 million units and continued to lead the overall PC market with a share of 33.8% in 1Q22. The vendor had its biggest ever consumer quarter in 1Q22, shipping close to 650k units with a share of 33.2%. It also had a strong commercial quarter with a share of 34.3%. Strong demand for commercial desktops, a clearance of big backlog orders, and continued demand for its consumer notebooks helped HP clock its biggest quarter ever.

With PCs becoming the most dependable tech tools, we at HP will continue our focus on consistent insights based innovation and introduce products to address the evolving best in class experience to users from all segments”.
