Taboola has expanded its presence in India with the launch of a new office in Gurugram. The move marks a significant step in Taboola’s ongoing investment in the region, reflecting its long-term commitment to the growth and transformation of India’s digital advertising ecosystem.

The opening of the new office was commemorated with an exclusive, invite-only event held on May 27, 2025, which brought together key players from the advertising and media industry.

The launch was marked by the presence of senior Taboola leadership including Eldad Maniv - President and Chief Operating Officer,  Kristy Sundjaja - Chief People Officer, Chanan Fogel -Vice President APAC, Aaron Rigby - Regional Director APAC and Harpreet Singh - Country Manager India. Adding to the significance of the occasion, H.E. Reuven Azar, Israel Ambassador to India, also joined the celebration. His presence reflected the importance of the milestone and the growing recognition of Taboola’s impact in the region.

Reflecting on the company’s continued expansion, Eldad Maniv, President and Chief Operating Officer at Taboola, said: “India is an important market for Taboola, and over the years, we've seen strong adoption of our technology by both advertisers and publishers. Opening our Gurugram office is a practical step forward—it allows us to be closer to our partners and continue supporting their growth with the tools and expertise we’ve built globally.”

This move goes beyond relocation, it reflects the momentum Taboola is building in India and the expanding scale of its operations in the market. With the Gurugram launch, the company has increased its office capacity by over 50%, supporting a growing team that now stands at 170+ employees. The new space has been designed to support continued growth, with the ambition to outgrow it in record time.

As part of the event, Taboola hosted a high impact roundtable titled “The New Media Mandate: Redefining Performance in a Platform-First World.” The discussion spotlighted how marketers are navigating a fragmented media ecosystem, rethinking KPIs, content environments, and what scaled performance looks like beyond walled gardens.

Another key highlight of the event was the panel discussion titled “From Dependency to Diversification: Shaping the Future with AI, Personalization & Partnerships.” This session brought together senior leaders from India’s top media houses to explore how AI, personalization, and strategic partnerships are driving the next phase of growth. The panel focused on building resilient and scalable publishing models on the Open Web through revenue diversification and future-ready content-commerce strategies. The discussion featured Chanan Fogel, Vice President APAC at Taboola; Sanjay Sindhwani, Chief Executive Officer at Indian Express Digital; Abhishek Sharma, Chief Product Officer at HT Digital; and Puneet Gupt, Chief Executive Officer at Times Internet.

The event also served as a platform to highlight key publisher relationships. Taboola announced the renewal of its partnership with Jagran New Media for a term of three years. Since the beginning of their collaboration in April 2022, Taboola and Jagran have worked closely to advance content personalization across Jagran’s digital network, providing tailored experiences to Hindi-speaking users and unlocking new monetization opportunities.

In addition, The Indian Express Group, a long-standing partner since 2018, has extended its relationship with Taboola for another three years. Indian Express has played a central role in advancing the use of Taboola’s personalization tools, being among the first to integrate mid-article and homepage widgets to drive deeper engagement and relevance for its readers.
