Sify Infinit Spaces Limited announced that the first AI-Hub Data Center at Lucknow is now ready for business. The ground breaking ceremony for this new facility was done by the Honourable Chief Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Manoj Kumar Singh, IAS on February 23, 2025 at 1030 hrs. The facility will be built in 4 phases with phase 1 becoming operational in June 2025.
The data center, in the vicinity of the major MNCs operating out of the NCR and Lucknow belt will help reduce the latency time and will be a key operational asset for Enterprises. The facility is situated in the HCL IT city campus on Sultanpur Road, Lucknow, uses edge caching—hardware and software-based components that store data in order to increase computing response time.
The ceremony was presided over by the Chairman of Sify Technologies Limited, Shri Raju Vegesna and had senior officials in attendance.

Sify’s expansion into Lucknow through this AI hub Edge Data Centre is a key milestone in realising this vision”
Reflecting on the occasion, Mr. Raju Vegesna, Chairman, Sify Technologies, remarked, “We are pleased to enable Lucknow to join the list of AI-ready cities. This facility is in line with our aggressive investment goals and is also a testament to the State government ambition of making Uttar Pradesh the data center destination for North India.
