Rajeev: What is your business model? What is your current company size?
Kaushal: We predominantly work on a yearly contract basis with a monthly retainer. However, based on client requirements, we also take up one-time SEO audit projects. Currently, we are a team of around 150 SEO experts and are planning on expanding to overseas geographies to accelerate our growth.
Rajeev: How do you see the adoption of Generative AI? Has AI impacted your business, if yes please share more details.
Kaushal: Generative AI is rapidly evolving and is having a significant impact on industries and creative processes around the world. In our line of business, it is also being used to generate personalized content, help automate tasks, and create new ideas. Even in areas like key client engagements in SEO projects, it can be used to personalize content, automate tasks, and target campaigns more effectively.
The overall adaptation & implementation of Generative AI is yet restricted to a few people but will increase in the coming months as AI becomes more accurate. I have been personally conducting a SEO + Generative AI workshop on Growth School which is a Sequoia-funded company. In our business, Generative AI has resulted in improved efficacy that is used to take up more SEO activities for the client, in turn leading to expediting the growth journey for our clients.
