Lava Confirms Safe Return of Majority of Delegation
In an official statement, Lava International confirmed that 86 partners and employees who were part of the Vietnam delegation have safely returned to India.
The company said that the remaining employees and channel partners are currently in Vietnam to complete the necessary formalities related to the repatriation of the mortal remains of those who lost their lives. It also confirmed that one of its channel partners is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Vietnam.
Expressing deep sorrow over the incident, the company said it could not begin to imagine what the survivors had witnessed and endured, adding that its thoughts remain with all those affected and their families during this difficult time.
Lava further stated that it is working in close coordination with the Embassy of India in Vietnam, the Vietnamese authorities, and the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City to facilitate the repatriation process and extend all necessary support. The company said it remains committed to sharing verified updates as more information becomes available.

The company has made supporting the bereaved families and assisting survivors its immediate priority. Teams are coordinating with Indian diplomatic missions and local authorities in Vietnam to ensure the safe return of the deceased and provide every possible assistance to affected families.
