Pune Police have recovered clothes allegedly linked to the murder of realtor Ketan Agarwal while taking prime accused Siya Goyal to her residence as part of the ongoing investigation. During the evidence collection process, Goyal allegedly made obscene gestures and showed the middle finger in front of police personnel and onlookers.
Police Recover Clothes Allegedly Worn on Day of Crime
According to Pune Rural Police, investigators escorted Siya Goyal to her residence in Pune's Market Yard area, where they seized clothing believed to have been worn by her on the day Ketan Agarwal was allegedly murdered. The recovery is expected to form part of the forensic investigation as authorities continue gathering evidence.
Officials said the visit was conducted under police supervision as part of efforts to reconstruct the sequence of events surrounding the high-profile murder case.
Crime Scene Reconstruction Continues
Earlier the same day, police also took Goyal to another location in Pune where she, along with co-accused Chetan Chaudhary, allegedly rehearsed the plan to push Agarwal off a cliff at Lohagad Fort.
Investigators are attempting to establish the alleged conspiracy, verify the movements of the accused, and match physical evidence with witness statements and digital records.
Obscene Gestures Spark Attention
During the police-led investigation, Siya Goyal was seen allegedly making obscene gestures, including showing the middle finger. The incident drew attention from people gathered near the location and quickly became a talking point as visuals circulated online.
