A surprising marital dispute has emerged from Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, where a newlywed bride reportedly told her husband on their wedding night that she was in love with someone else and did not wish to continue the marriage.
The revelation left the groom and his family shocked, eventually leading the matter to the Family Counselling Centre at the local women's police station.

According to reports, the bride informed her husband that she loved another man and did not want to enter into a marital relationship. She reportedly asked him to stay away from her, making it clear that she wanted to be with her partner instead.
The groom shared the incident with his family the following morning, after which relatives from both sides tried to persuade the bride to reconsider. However, she remained firm in her decision.

With no resolution possible within the families, the case was referred to the Family Counselling Centre at the women's police station.
