Bikanervala Foods is strengthening its manufacturing footprint in Jewar with a strategic brownfield expansion aimed at meeting rising demand for traditional Indian snacks and food products.
The expansion is being undertaken within the company’s existing 1,01,312 sq. metre manufacturing hub near Noida International Airport, allowing Bikanervala Foods to increase production capacity without developing an entirely new facility.
Manufacturing Capacity to Expand
As part of the expansion, the built-up area of the existing manufacturing facility will increase from 60,861.98 sq. metres by an additional 19,676.39 sq. metres.
The brownfield approach enables the company to build on its existing infrastructure while expanding operational capacity to support growing market demand.
Located near Noida International Airport, the facility also provides strategic connectivity for the movement of products and supplies, supporting Bikanervala Foods’ broader manufacturing and distribution requirements.
₹131 Crore Fresh Investment
Bikanervala Foods is committing approximately ₹131 crore in fresh investment towards the expansion.
Following this additional investment, the company’s total investment in the Jewar manufacturing facility will reach approximately ₹548 crore.
The increased investment underlines the strategic importance of the facility within Bikanervala Foods’ manufacturing network.
Focus on Traditional Indian Food Demand
The expansion comes as demand for traditional Indian snacks and packaged food products continues to create opportunities for established food brands to increase production capabilities.
By expanding its existing manufacturing hub, Bikanervala Foods aims to strengthen its ability to serve growing demand while improving the scale and efficiency of its operations.
The Jewar expansion is expected to further establish the facility as an important manufacturing base for the company, while supporting its long-term growth strategy in the Indian food market.
