WD_Black Cup Season 4 Concluded on Successful Note

Western Digital has successfully hosted the grand finale of its flagship WD_Black Cup season 4 on 18th February. The finale was organized during popular India Gaming Show 2023 at Pragati Maidan New Delhi. IGS 2023 being a renowned gaming show, it brought together all stakeholders from eSports domain.

The three-day gaming show held from 16th to 18th February and witnessed huge footfall as a large number of gamers, gaming enthusiasts and creators attended this mega show. On side-line of this show, the prestigious WD_Black Cup Season 4 finale was held where the prize pool was Rs. 13 Lakh which was distributed among various teams who emerged as the winners.

WD_Black cup has been quite popular and successful among gamers’ community since it’s inception. In its 4th edition, the tournament got amazing response from top gamers who participated in this tournament. But only the best gamers made it to the finals. India Gaming Show was the perfect platform for this grand finale as complete gaming community was present during the show. Total three games were played during the show. The 1st one was CS:GO which was played between Wicked Gaming and Kingpins. Both these teams showed outstanding gameplay throughout the WD_Black Cup 2023 and reached to the finals. But the team Wicked Gaming won the final and became the champion of CS:GO. Team Kingpins was the runner up and they also played really well during the grand finale.

The 2nd game was CS:GO Streamer Showdown where The Paaji Squad and Café Ke Bande were playing to take home the title. Both the teams played incredibly and showcased their gaming skills. But in a very cut throat competition, The Paaji Squad emerged as the winner after defeating Café Ke Bande.

The third and the final game was Real Cricket22 which was played between Davinder and Gaming StarJ. Both the gamers were full of confidence and played with all their skills to win the trophy. But at the end Davinder Singh won the game and lifted the trophy for Real Cricket22 at WD_Black Cup Season 4.

In terms of viewership, this season was the best one as large number of people were watching the live show at Pragati Maidan but more audiences were connected digitally through SkyEsports YouTube channel, which is the esports partner for WD_Black Cup Season 4. The finale got more than 242K views on YouTube. The show got everyone’s attention and helped the gamers get much required exposer.
