Snowflake, the AI Data Cloud company, showcased its commitment to empowering organizations to achieve their full potential with data and AI at the Snowflake World Tour in New Delhi on 22 August 2025. The keynote addresses featured insights from Mike Blandina, Chief Information Officer, Snowflake, and Vijayant Rai, Managing Director- India, Snowflake.

They highlighted how Snowflake is helping organizations in driving innovation by eliminating complexity in storing, sharing, and analyzing data to seamlessly turn ideas into outcomes. Snowflake reinforced its philosophy of simplicity in the age of AI through the AI Data Cloud. As emphasized during the event, complexity introduces risk, cost, and friction, while simplicity drives results. This belief is deeply embedded in Snowflake’s design and approach.

Vijayant Rai, noted, Snowflake is the place where data is unified, shared, and activated to fuel Al, accelerate innovation, and turn ideas into outcomes. The Al Data Cloud is the unified platform and connected ecosystem of organizations building, using and sharing data, apps and Al. Snowflake powers the end-to-end data lifecycle-from ingesting and processing data to analyzing and modeling it, to building and sharing data and AI applications; helping engineers, analysts, and leaders innovate faster and achieve more with their data.

Rai further emphasized that Gen AI is now a powerful enabler of core business outcomes and highlighted how Snowflake’s solutioning approach unlocks the full value of data, making it governed, secure, and interoperable, while enabling secure AI adoption and seamless ecosystem collaboration. He highlighted that Snowflake customers are the most AI-ready customers in the world because their data is AI-ready.

In India, several leading enterprises are already seeing transformative results:

  • Razorpay achieved 99.99% uptime with secure data sharing, minimizing fraud and improving reconciliation.

  • Bajaj Allianz General Insurance gained a 360-degree view across partners, customers, and policies, strengthening real-time analytics and risk management.

  • Urban Company ensured 100% encryption, delivered 30% cost savings, and advanced its GenAI adoption.

During his keynote, Mike Blandina emphasized that Snowflake empowers companies to do more with their data, whether it’s asking a question with a voice memo and getting an instant answer from enterprise data, launching a customer-facing app without writing a single line of code, or building with APIs while retaining the flexibility to switch AI models. With the AI Data Cloud, Snowflake enables customers to unlock value across the entire data lifecycle. Mike shared the example of Canva, which leverages Snowflake to gain real-time creative intelligence and instant visibility into user behavior, driving faster product decisions, smarter design suggestions, and a continuously learning platform.

The keynote also shed light on the latest innovations by Snowflake, like Snowflake Cortex AI, Snowflake Intelligence, Cortex Agent, and Cortex AISQL, all designed to help enterprises unlock the future of enterprise AI. Snowflake Intelligence, for instance, marks a significant leap in how organizations can leverage AI to drive business outcomes, simplifying AI and ML workflows, breaking down data silos, and accelerating the adoption of AI across use cases. Leading global customers such as Whoop, Kraft-Heinz, Nissan, and Samsung Ads are already harnessing Snowflake’s AI capabilities to transform their operations and deliver smarter, faster results.

Another key highlight of the event was the announcement that IndiGo, India’s preferred airline, has adopted the Snowflake AI Data Cloud to create a unified, consistent, and secure enterprise data hub.

Rai concluded by emphasising the strategic importance of the India market for Snowflake globally.
