Pegasystems Inc announced a major expansion of its University Academic Program (UAP) at its flagship event, PEGAInnovate. The company has onboarded three new implementation partners, ai4process, The Skill Enhancers, and Tinkr Learning, to work alongside existing partner SmartBridge Educational Services in building industry future-ready talent across India at scale.

The expansion answers a clear market signal: as agentic AI and intelligent automation reshape enterprise work, demand for Pega-skilled talent is climbing across global technology majors, reflecting interest from Pega's clients and partners in building a pipeline of qualified talent. The new partners add extensive academic reach and pan-India campus access, helping Pega scale a distributed model that trains and certifies graduates the industry can deploy from day one.

In collaboration, Pega and its implementation partners will:

  • Blend hands-on training in Pega’s latest AI technologies with the consultative and human skills that speed on-the-job readiness

  • Leverage academic relationships to bring premium engineering colleges from across India into the program

  • Deploy innovative delivery models that optimize program cost for students

  • Drive operational excellence with world-class, Pega-certified faculty

Scheduled to roll out in August 2026, the program targets 500+ students in its first year, scaling toward a full cohort of 800 to 1,000 engineering graduates across 50+ university campuses. Designed as long-term engagements, these partnerships are built to strengthen UAP year on year and help shape the workforce of the future in India and globally.

Quotes & Commentary:

“This is being pulled by real demand, not pushed by us; it aligns closely with the campus hiring our clients and partners are already planning for,” said Deepak Visweswaraiah, senior vice president and managing director, Pega India. “Our new partners let us meet that demand at pace, while SmartBridge’s groundwork keeps growth matched by quality. We train on Pega Blueprint, Gen AI, and agentic engineering, but we are just as deliberate about the human skills that decide whether a graduate is productive from day one. Get that mix right, and 800 to 1,000 graduates a year becomes a talent pipeline the industry can build on.”

“Through this partnership, we aim to equip students and professionals with industry-ready capabilities in AI, low-code development, and intelligent workflow automation, helping build a future-ready digital talent ecosystem for enterprises. We look forward to working closely with Pega to shape the next generation of digital transformation leaders," said Amit Agrawal, CEO - ai4process.

“When we began this journey with Pega, our vision was to build a robust talent factory for India and beyond,” said Amarendar Katkam, Founder & CEO, SmartBridge.

“Education creates graduates, but holistic development creates future leaders. Together with Pega University Academy, we are enabling young engineers to graduate not only with cutting-edge technical skills, but also with the confidence, mindset, and professional capabilities needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving world,” said Sameer Nagi, Founder, Tinkr Learning. "This partnership brings together

Pega’s deep product expertise with TSE's strength in learning design," said Heeresh Dubey, Founder - The Skill Enhancers. "Together, it's a truly 360° association - one that combines cutting-edge technology with proven learning methodology to create real value for learners and make them industry-ready."
