Following the national debut of ‘Creator Cities’, which is Flipkart's dedicated infrastructure for Video Commerce, the organisation is set to unveil its dynamic ‘Creator Cities’ experience at Glam Up Fest 2025, celebrating the growing influence of content creators in shaping the future of e-commerce.

As part of this, there will be studios at the Glam Up venue, enabling hours of Live Stream videos, which can be accessed on the Flipkart app. This reflects the mobility of Creator Cities as a model, which can be recreated at multiple locations, beyond Flipkart's dedicated infrastructure in Mumbai, Gurgaon and Bangalore.

Also launching at Glam Up as part of the Creator Cities experience and as an extension of Flipkart's Video Commerce ambitions, is ‘Creator Hood’. This is a tech-driven in-app platform that empowers content creators to connect with Flipkart shoppers, by creating engaging and authentic content. Integrated into the Flipkart app, the program will help creators across India build sustainable livelihoods through commerce. 

The launch of Creator Hood marks a significant milestone in Flipkart’s mission to integrate content, community, and commerce for a new generation of digital-first shoppers. It aligns with Flipkart’s broader videofication strategy, which uses video formats to enhance trust, product understanding, and style inspiration - particularly among emerging digital consumers in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets. For sellers and brands, Creator Hood unlocks new growth opportunities. 

The program is currently invite-only, with select creators onboarded for the launch phase. A larger rollout will follow, expanding access to aspiring creators nationwide.

As Gen Z emerges as the driving force in India’s digital economy, Flipkart is reimagining shopping as a content-first, interactive, and community-led experience, placing creators at the forefront of this evolution.

Mumbai will play host to this new wave of creator commerce as Flipkart brings the Creator City to thousands of influencers at Glam Up event. Attendees can immerse themselves in an interactive Video Commerce zone, where they’ll experience the creator onboarding journey live, receive hands-on guidance, earn spot rewards for approved content, and get a fast-track entry into the Creator Hood community, with potential for long-term earnings.
