Exclusive Chat with Jaya Jagadish, Country Head | AMD-Delhi University MoU

India’s AI ecosystem is evolving rapidly, and building a skilled talent pool will be critical to sustaining this momentum. In a significant industry-academia collaboration, AMD and Delhi University have signed an MoU to strengthen AI education, innovation, and hands-on learning for students.

Under the partnership, AMD aims to train up to 10,000 students over the next year through its AI Engage Developer Program. Students and faculty will gain access to AMD’s open-source ROCm AI software platform, technical workshops, learning resources, and developer GPU cloud credits — helping bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world AI development.
