Ashish Sawant, National Sales Manager – Volume & Distribution Business, AMD shared AMD’s journey of transformation over the last few years, "Earlier, AMD was primarily seen as a gaming or high-end user brand. Today, we are everywhere—laptops, servers, SMBs, even hyperscale data centers. We went back to the drawing board, heavily invested in R&D, and reinvented the wheel to deliver disruptive technology across every price point. We ensured high performance, energy efficiency, and strong security without compromise. More importantly, we built a trusted ecosystem with partners like Lenovo and Acer, giving them the right training and support to deliver real value to customers. The result? Genuine market demand is growing, not just a push from our side."
Vikrant Gupta, Associate Director – Sales, Acer India, reflected on the shift in customer perception and adoption, "Four to five years back, customer acceptance of AMD devices was low. Today, it has shifted dramatically. We see students, SMBs, and enterprise clients actively requesting AMD machines. Customers have witnessed the performance, value for money, and efficiency, and now it’s a clear story of brand acceptance. For example, segments that once hesitated are now seeing AMD adoption in excess of 30%, sometimes even approaching 40% in specific quarters. That’s a phenomenal shift in such a short span."
Kalpesh Chande, Director – Strategic Sales, Lenovo India, highlighted the impact of AI-enabled PCs and real-world productivity, "AI is no longer a buzzword—it’s becoming a daily reality. Polad Garda, Country Manager – Storage Devices, Toshiba India Pvt.
