
Micron Technology announced that its most high-performance and power-efficient, low-power double data rate 5X (LPDDR5X) memory and advanced universal flash storage (UFS) 4.0 are designed into Motorola’s newest and most powerful flip phone, the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra. The smartphone is powered by Moto AI, Motorola’s large language model-based AI features, while Micron LPDDR5X and UFS solutions provide the capacity, power efficiency, speed and performance needed to fuel mobile AI.

Micron’s second-generation 1ß (1-beta)-based LPDDR5X memory delivers speeds up to 9.6 gigabits per second, offering a 10% increase in speed over the previous generation.1 This fast performance allows users to effortlessly switch between apps and better multitask while delivering the fast data processing needed for mobile AI features. Micron’s LPDDR5X enables up to 25% greater power savings2 to fuel energy-intensive AI applications while extending battery life — a key feature of the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra which boasts over 36 hours of power.
On the storage front, Micron UFS 4.0 storage provides plenty of room for photos, movies, songs, apps and games, even with the phone’s ultracompact foldable form factor.
