Based in Kolkata, the hospital operates under the umbrella of the RP Sanjiv Goenka Group and serves as a major multi-speciality healthcare institution with an extensive clinical network and technology-supported infrastructure.

Throughout his career, he has played a central role in modernizing clinical systems, improving digital workflows, and implementing scalable technology ecosystems across some of India’s leading healthcare organizations.
His expertise spans enterprise IT strategy, healthcare data platforms, hospital information systems, cybersecurity frameworks, and the integration of digital technologies into clinical and operational environments.
Industry observers note that hospital CIOs are increasingly becoming strategic decision-makers rather than purely technology administrators, especially as healthcare institutions adopt AI-driven systems, predictive analytics, electronic medical records, and digitally connected care delivery models.
Extensive Experience Across Major Hospital Networks
Before joining Woodlands Multispeciality Hospital, Pramanick held several senior leadership positions in the healthcare sector. His previous roles include Senior Director IT and Deputy CIO at Manipal Hospitals and Vice President IT and CIO at Columbia Asia Hospitals.
He also served as CIO and Head of Digital Transformations at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, alongside Group CIO responsibilities at Paras Healthcare and Asian Institute of Medical Sciences.
Additionally, he has managed IT operations and strategic technology functions at Fortis Healthcare and Escorts Limited, giving him broad exposure to large-scale healthcare environments.
