A: Yes, and the shift is already underway. Logistics companies need infrastructure that scales with seasonal demand spikes, runs 24x7, and stays available across geographies — building and babysitting large on-premise data centers simply can't keep pace with that anymore. That said, logistics remains a hybrid business. Mission-critical legacy systems and certain customer-specific integrations stay on dedicated infrastructure, while customer portals, digital freight platforms, APIs, and analytics are moving steadily to hyperscale and colocation environments.
Q: How is AI changing your infrastructure and cloud strategy?
A: Fundamentally. Predictive ETAs, dynamic freight pricing, demand forecasting, intelligent document processing, exception management, and AI-powered Control Towers all demand infrastructure that can process huge data volumes in real time. We've moved away from a "Cloud First" mindset to a "Business Outcome First" one — every workload gets evaluated on latency, security, scalability, cost, and customer experience before we decide where it lives. In short, infrastructure today has to support continuous intelligence, not just continuous uptime.

A: Honestly, all three carry equal weight for us. Security is non-negotiable — we hold sensitive customer data, shipment details, financial transactions, and trade documentation, and cyber resilience has become a board-level conversation, not just an IT one. Cost optimization matters because AI workloads consume infrastructure fast; FinOps discipline and intelligent cloud governance keep that in check. And compliance keeps getting more complex as data privacy regulations, cross-border data flows, and industry-specific rules evolve — especially since our governance now has to extend across partners and vendors, not just our own systems.
Q: Are you prioritizing data localization & sovereign cloud?
A: Yes. Data has become a strategic business asset for us, not just a regulatory checkbox. We're placing greater emphasis on keeping critical business and customer data within the right regulatory boundaries while still maintaining secure access across our global operations. For a multinational logistics business, the real challenge is balancing global connectivity with local compliance — and that's exactly where sovereign cloud capabilities are going to matter more over the next few years.
Q: What will define the "ideal data center partner" in the next 3 years?
A: Far more than racks, power, and connectivity. We'll be looking for partners who genuinely understand business continuity, AI readiness, cyber resilience, sustainability, and global connectivity — not just infrastructure vendors who happen to serve logistics clients.
