IDC Technologies has elevated Vishal Mishra to Chief AI Officer and Head of Growth, expanding his mandate across artificial intelligence, enterprise transformation, strategic technology partnerships and business development. Based in Dubai, Mishra will focus on using AI-led capabilities to drive growth and expand the company’s AI, Data and Digital business.
The appointment, reported on September 24, 2026, brings together Mishra’s technology leadership experience with a broader commercial responsibility covering new business acquisition, strategic accounts, partnerships and emerging markets.
Expanding IDC Technologies’ AI and Growth Agenda
In his expanded role, Mishra will work on integrating AI across sales, technology solutions, customer propositions and transformation engagements. His responsibilities will also include shaping and commercialising AI, Data and Digital offerings for enterprise customers.
A key part of the mandate will be developing strategic technology partnerships and joint go-to-market initiatives with hyperscalers and other ecosystem partners. Mishra will also support customer engagements involving enterprise AI adoption, AI transformation, agentic AI and data strategy.
The expanded position combines technology leadership with a growth mandate, linking AI capabilities with business development and commercialisation.

More Than 18 Years of Technology Experience
Mishra brings more than 18 years of experience across artificial intelligence, software engineering, digital transformation, cloud technologies and enterprise technology.
Before taking on his expanded responsibilities, he had been serving as Chief AI Officer at IDC Technologies in Dubai since April 2026. In that role, he led the company’s Data, Analytics and AI practice across the Middle East, focusing on enterprise AI transformation, intelligent automation and scalable AI adoption.
His professional background includes leadership experience across AI strategy, software architecture, engineering, automation and enterprise transformation.
Leadership Journey Across Technology and AI
Prior to joining IDC Technologies, Mishra served as Director of Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering at Inception42. His earlier career includes leadership roles at Accenture Middle East and Emirates. He also served as Co-Founder at ConioSystems LLP, adding entrepreneurial experience to his technology leadership background.
Mishra began his career in software engineering and also worked with Mindtree, building an early foundation in software development and technology delivery before moving into broader AI and enterprise transformation roles.
Focus on AI Commercialisation and Strategic Partnerships
As Head of Growth, Mishra will also be responsible for expanding IDC Technologies’ growth engine across new-logo acquisition, strategic accounts, partnerships and emerging markets.
The role will connect the company’s technology capabilities with commercial opportunities, including the development of AI-led propositions and solutions for enterprise customers. His mandate also includes leading technology partnerships and joint go-to-market initiatives with hyperscalers and other ecosystem players.
With responsibilities spanning AI strategy, enterprise transformation, business growth and technology partnerships, Mishra’s expanded role brings together the technical and commercial sides of IDC Technologies’ AI and digital business.
