

India Mortgage Guarantee Corporation (IMGC) has appointed Jatinder Singh Malhotra as its new Chief Information Officer (CIO), strengthening the company’s technology leadership as it accelerates its digital transformation and technology strategy. The appointment comes as IMGC continues to place technology, analytics and artificial intelligence at the centre of its efforts to build a more scalable and future-ready mortgage guarantee platform.
17+ Years of Technology and Transformation Experience
Malhotra brings more than 17 years of experience spanning enterprise architecture, digital modernisation, technology transformation and business strategy. His professional journey covers the banking, insurance and consulting sectors, giving him extensive exposure to technology-led transformation within complex business environments.
An alumnus of IIT Roorkee, Malhotra has held leadership positions at globally recognised consulting firms including Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Accenture Strategy and Ernst & Young (EY). His career has focused on helping organisations align technology capabilities with business strategy while modernising enterprise platforms and operating models.
Will Lead IMGC’s Next-Generation Technology Roadmap
In his new role, Malhotra will spearhead IMGC’s next-generation technology strategy and information security roadmap. A key priority will be developing a robust, stable and scalable technology foundation capable of supporting the organisation’s future growth.
His mandate will encompass strengthening core technology infrastructure while ensuring that IMGC’s technology environment remains resilient, secure and aligned with the changing requirements of the lending ecosystem.
