Bringing over 15 years of expertise in information security, IT compliance, and audits, Mody is well-positioned to spearhead IIFL Home Loans’ cybersecurity efforts in an increasingly challenging digital landscape. In the new role at IIFL Home Loans, Mody is expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing the company’s cybersecurity commitment, safeguarding sensitive customer data, and guiding secure innovation in the company.
Before his appointment at IIFL Home Loans, he spent over three years serving at PNB Housing Finance Limited, where he led innovative initiatives in Cyber Security Management and addressing other critical aspects of this domain, significantly enhancing the organization’s security posture and resilience against emerging cyber threats.
At the beginning of his professional journey, he worked with leading IT companies, HCL Comnet where he served as a consultant for three years, and then joined Wipro Infotech. His career kicked off when he started playing key leadership roles post-Wipro.
He served as an Assistant Manager at Indymac Bank and Barclays, holding the responsibilities of an offshore compliance officer and taking care of the implementation of Information security controls. His tenure of 11 years at Deloitte marks a significant to his career, where he was an Associate Director pioneering initiatives in Information Security, Project Management, IT & IS Audits, and Resource Management.
Having a strong academic background, Mody holds a dual master's degree - an MBA in IT Management and an MCA in Computer Science, building a strong foundation of knowledge about the ICT landscape. He further solidified his expertise in cybersecurity by acquiring skills in Cyber Risk Management, IT Security Assessment, Data Privacy, Information Security Management, and Enterprise Risk Management, to mention a few. He is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and an Associate of (ISC)2, which lays the foundation of his technical proficiency and leadership in the cybersecurity domain.
