Front Light Building Company has appointed Urmila Menon as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), strengthening its technology leadership as the company advances its digital transformation and builds a more connected, scalable and future-ready technology ecosystem.
With more than 30 years of technology and business leadership experience, Menon brings extensive expertise across enterprise technology, artificial intelligence, product management, digital transformation, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, data and analytics.
Strengthening Enterprise Technology
In her new role, Menon will lead Front Light Building Company’s enterprise technology strategy, with a focus on developing next-generation digital capabilities that can support the company’s growth across its businesses and projects.
Her mandate will include building a connected and scalable technology environment while strengthening security, operational efficiency and innovation. The company said her leadership will play an important role in enabling continued growth and creating a technology foundation capable of supporting its evolving business requirements.
Menon joins Front Light at a pivotal stage as the company looks to operate as a more connected and technology-enabled organisation. Her experience in aligning technology strategy with business objectives is expected to support the company’s efforts to modernise its enterprise technology landscape.
Three Decades of Technology Leadership
Throughout her career, Menon has worked with organisations on large-scale business and technology transformation initiatives. Her experience spans AI-driven innovation, automation, enterprise systems, digital transformation, cybersecurity, business intelligence and technology strategy.
Before joining Front Light Building Company, she held several senior technology leadership positions, including Chief Information Officer at Tri Pointe Homes, Chief Technology Officer at ATI Restoration, and Vice President of Client Technology at Allied Universal.
At Allied Universal, Menon was involved in technology initiatives supporting the company’s national expansion and broader enterprise transformation efforts. Her leadership experience across different business environments has given her exposure to technology programmes focused on scale, operational excellence and business growth.
AI and Digital Innovation in Focus
Menon’s appointment comes at a time when artificial intelligence, automation, cloud platforms and data-driven decision-making are rapidly changing how enterprises operate.
