Holding over 20 years of experience in the diverse areas of banking, financial services, insurance (BFSI), non-banking financial company (NBFC), automotive, and pharmaceutical sectors, Dharmvir has built a reputation for successfully implementing large-scale digital transformation projects.
Prior to joining Sammaan Capital, Dharmvir served as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Spandana Sphoorty Financial Limited, where he played a crucial role in modernizing the company’s IT infrastructure and managing strategic programs. He has also held senior leadership roles at Home First Finance Company (HFFC), Hero FinCorp, and Birlasoft (India) Limited, where he spearheaded various digital transformation initiatives.
His professional career started with Wipro Technologies, and he also worked with IBM Global Services. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in driving enterprise-wide technology advancements, strengthening cybersecurity frameworks, and optimizing IT processes to enhance business performance.
Dharmvir holds a strong academic background that comprises a degree in B. Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University and an MBA in Finance and IT from the Indian Institute of Management.
