

Axis Finance Limited has appointed Abhishek Bose as its Chief Data Officer (CDO), strengthening its data and analytics leadership as the company continues to accelerate digital transformation and embed data-driven decision-making across its business operations.
In his new role, Bose will spearhead the company's enterprise data strategy, oversee data governance, enhance advanced analytics capabilities, and build scalable data platforms to support business growth, customer experience, risk management, and operational efficiency. He will also play a key role in driving AI-enabled insights and strengthening the organization's data ecosystem.
Brings over two decades of data and analytics expertise
Bose joins Axis Finance with more than 20 years of experience spanning data science, business analytics, enterprise data management, business intelligence, credit analytics, and digital transformation across the financial services industry.
Prior to this appointment, he served as Executive Vice President at Tata Capital, where he led data science initiatives and helped strengthen the organization's analytics capabilities. His leadership contributed to leveraging data-driven insights for business growth, customer engagement, and strategic decision-making.
Earlier in his career, Bose held leadership roles at TransUnion CIBIL Limited, YES BANK, and Hansa Cequity, where he worked across enterprise analytics, credit risk modelling, business intelligence, customer analytics, strategic sales, and data-led business transformation. He also gained valuable experience during his tenure at GECIS and Prudential PLC, building expertise in enterprise data platforms and analytics-driven innovation.
