In his dual role, Mr. Dey will spearhead Aster’s enterprise-wide IT vision, drive robust cybersecurity and data governance frameworks, and champion digitally enabled patient-centric services. Before joining Aster DM Healthcare, Mr. Dey served as the CIO at HealthCare Global Enterprises Ltd. (HCG), where he played a pivotal role in implementing clinical informatics systems, digitalizing cancer care pathways, and advancing precision diagnostics at Triesta Labs. Under his leadership, HCG successfully harnessed AI-based platforms, cloud-native applications, and cybersecurity architectures tailored for clinical environments.
Mr. Dey has also held senior IT leadership positions with Fortis Healthcare, where he led large-scale IT modernization programs and strengthened health information governance across the hospital chain.
Beyond healthcare, his professional journey includes critical IT transformation roles at Godfrey Phillips India, iBilt Technologies, Path Infotech, NIIT, and as a founding member of eDesignPro Pvt Ltd. His experience spans consumer goods, IT services, and digital consulting, giving him a unique edge in deploying cross-functional technology strategies that are scalable, secure, and outcome-driven.

An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta, Mr. Dey is known for combining business acumen with technological foresight.
