Ingram Micro has appointed Sandeep Sahgal as Vice President โ APAC Operations, bringing 28 years of experience across digital supply chain, supply chain planning and logistics. In his new role, Sahgal will focus on strengthening operational efficiency, customer satisfaction and delivery performance across the Asia-Pacific region.
Sahgal has built his career across multiple geographies and product categories, with experience in establishing, standardising and streamlining end-to-end supply chain operations. His expertise spans supply chain planning, logistics, warehousing, transportation, import and export operations, and last-mile delivery.
Extensive Supply Chain and Operations Experience
Before joining Ingram Micro, Sahgal was associated with Schneider Electric, where he developed extensive experience in supply chain and operational management.
Over the course of his career, he has worked on developing supply chain capabilities aligned with different go-to-market strategies and business models, including B2B, B2C and e-commerce environments. His experience also includes designing supply chain flows in response to changing business and geopolitical conditions.
At Ingram Micro, this experience is expected to support the companyโs APAC operations as it works to improve supply chain performance and customer delivery capabilities across diverse markets.
Focus on Efficiency and Customer Experience
Sahgal's professional experience covers the broader logistics ecosystem, including import and export processes, warehousing, transportation and last-mile delivery. He has also worked on streamlining workflows, optimising resources and improving operational productivity.
Another key area of his expertise is balancing demand and supply by aligning volume and product mix with available capacity and capabilities. He has worked on integrating operating plans with broader business objectives to support customer experience and delivery targets.
