Redington Limited brought together nearly 400 technology and business leaders at Global NEXT 2026 to address a defining challenge for the industry: turning rapid advances in technology into business outcomes for customers. Held in Singapore from 2 to 4 September, the invitation-only forum connected leaders from Asia, the Middle East and Africa around a shared priority-bringing the capabilities, expertise and partnerships required for AI adoption together.

The programme also marked the inauguration of Redington’s ASEAN AI Innovation Centre. The Centre gives customers and partners a physical environment to explore AI use cases, navigate solution options, build proofs of concept and validate integrated solutions. It adds a practical foundation to the ambition behind Global NEXT: connecting global innovation with the capabilities needed to put it to work locally.

As organisations invest in AI, cloud and digital transformation, their success increasingly depends on how effectively infrastructure, data, cybersecurity, software, services and skills work together. For partners, this creates an opportunity to address more complex customer needs by combining their strengths with those of the wider ecosystem. Redington’s role is to make those connections easier to build and translate into execution.

V.S. Hariharan, Managing Director and Group CEO, Redington Limited, said: “The next chapter of technology will not be shaped by one product, one platform or one company. It will be built by ecosystems. Customers need infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, software, data, skills and specialised partners to come together around the outcomes they want to achieve. Redington's role is to orchestrate these capabilities - reducing complexity, connecting global innovation with local execution and creating a clearer path from possibility to adoption.”

Helping Partners address more complex customer needs

Across three days, Global NEXT brought technology companies, channel partners, customers and independent software vendors (ISVs) into a programme spanning the AI Summit, keynotes, panels, curated conversations, demonstrations, the Global NEXT Awards and Centre of Excellence visits.

Built around four connected experiences-Connect, Imagine, Celebrate and Experience-the programme linked strategic discussions with capability showcases and opportunities to build relationships across markets and technology domains.

Discussions examined how partners can collaborate earlier, combine complementary strengths and adapt global innovation to local customer needs. As technology roles evolve, that collaboration becomes increasingly valuable: ISVs need routes to market, channel partners need specialist capabilities, technology companies need local execution, and customers need these elements to work together.

Global NEXT placed these interdependencies at the centre of the conversation, reinforcing Redington’s proposition as a partner that connects technology access, expertise and market reach around customer priorities.

Building the capabilities behind AI adoption

The ASEAN AI Innovation Centre extends that proposition into a setting where customers and partners can evaluate how different technologies fit together before moving towards deployment.

Marcus Dass, Senior Vice President & Head, Global Enterprises Division, EDB, said: “We welcome the opening of Redington's ASEAN AI Innovation Centre in Singapore. This centre adds to Singapore's growing AI ecosystem, bringing together enterprises, technology partners and specialist expertise to accelerate the responsible adoption and deployment of AI. Singapore's strong digital infrastructure, skilled talent and regional connectivity will enable companies like Redington to deliver impactful AI solutions to businesses across the region.”

The Singapore facility includes Redington’s first physical AI Launchpad, one of three planned globally, with centres also being developed in Bengaluru and Dubai. It supports Redington’s software-led focus across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.

The AI Launchpad complements Redington’s wider capabilities, including various platforms such as Cloud Quarks, Redington Online, Digiglass, RACE, various assets such as AI Exchange, Track my Cloud, Reonix, various Services such as Redington Academy, Redington Marketing Servives. Together, these capabilities are designed to help partners connect solution innovation with skills, demand creation and market access-critical elements in taking technology from demonstration to customer adoption.

Global NEXT 2026 brought this approach into focus: the ability to bring the right capabilities together is becoming central to technology value creation. Through its ecosystem relationships and investment in platforms, expertise and physical innovation environments, Redington is building the foundations to help partners pursue larger opportunities and customers move forward with greater confidence
