Epson organized a cricket tournament named ‘Unity Cup Cricket Tournament’ at Jalandhar, Punjab. The cricket tournament was organized for IT dealers from Ludhiana, Patiala, Hoshiarpur and Jalandhar. The tournament was organized on 5th March at Jalandhar Club. Total 4 teams participated in the cricket tournament which includes Light Sabres (Ludhiana), Dominators (Patiala), Ink Tank Icons (Jalandhar) and Rips Pacer (Hoshiarpur).
This was a great initiative by Epson to help all the dealers to meet and share their experience, journey and establish a positive business ecosystem. Happiness and excitement were seen all around and all IT partners were really energized to participate in the tournament. All the partners played with highest spirit and put 100% efforts to win the cricket cup.
The cricket tournament also got the support of IT associations of Punjab. The supporting associations were Ace Ludhiana Association, Jalandhar Computer Dealers Association, Hoshiarpur Computer Dealers Association And Patiala Association.
Association members were also present at the tournament. Mr. Gurpreet Singh, President PACT, Mr. Rajesh Joshi, President, JCDA, Mr. Sunil Verma HCDS and Mr. Prem Saini, Mr. Parminder Saini, Mr. Inder Mohan Bhaskar and Mr. Rajiv Khanna graced this cricket event.
On the successful conclusion of this great initiative, Rajiv Khanna, Media Advisor, Punjab Association of Computer Traders (PACT) said, “This is really an amazing initiative from Epson for wellbeing of the IT channel community. It provided all the IT partners to take out some time for themselves and meet with each other keeping aside the work-related talks. The successful conclusion of Unity Cup Cricket Tournament reflects the passion for cricket in all the participating partners. We all enjoyed this tournament and expect more such initiatives in future.”
All 4 teams played with full efforts and enthusiasm. But only two teams made it to the finals who were Ink Tank Icons and Rips Pacer. The final match was really outstanding and amazed everyone who were watching. In the finals, Ink Tank Icons emerged as winner after beating Rips pacer who was named as runner up and received their runner-up trophy with smiling faces all around. It was apparently a fruitful initiative and will definitely bring a positive change in the performance of participating channel partners in their professional life.
