The Uttar Pradesh Computer Dealers & Welfare Association (UPCDWA) announced its newly elected Management Committee for the 2026–2027 term during the DT Channel Connect Lucknow edition, hosted by Digital Terminal. The event brought together key stakeholders from the IT distribution and channel ecosystem, serving as a prominent platform for industry dialogue, collaboration, and leadership transition within the Uttar Pradesh IT market.

The elections were conducted under the supervision of the highly respected Sh. Devesh Rastogi, Chairman of FAIITA and Past President of UPCDWA, ensuring a transparent, smooth, and well-coordinated process.

Following the nomination and withdrawal period, it was observed that only a single valid nomination had been received for each available post. Consequently, all nominated candidates were elected unopposed to their respective positions, highlighting the consensus and confidence within the association. The new committee will formally assume office on 1st April 2026, ready to advance UPCDWA’s mission of promoting collaboration, innovation, and sustainable growth among IT channel partners across Uttar Pradesh.

Following the official announcement, the newly elected committee members took oath on stage during the event in the presence of industry leaders, dignitaries, and association members. The oath ceremony marked the formal beginning of their leadership journey, reinforcing their commitment to uphold the values of unity, collaboration, and collective growth for the IT channel community.

During the event, the new leadership team was felicitated amidst applause from industry peers and dignitaries, marking the beginning of a fresh chapter for UPCDWA. In a special gesture, the association members also felicitated Rajeev Ranjan, Editor and Publisher of Digital Terminal, along with Jyoti Janda, Executive Editor, Digital Terminal, recognizing their contribution and continued support to the IT channel ecosystem.

Speaking on the election process, Sh. Devesh Rastogi remarked, “The seamless conduct of these elections reflects the maturity and cohesion of the UPCDWA community. The new committee carries the responsibility of guiding the association with strategic vision and collaborative spirit. In today’s rapidly evolving technology landscape, it is essential that we provide IT partners with the right platforms, knowledge, and support to thrive, and I am confident this team is well-equipped to do so.”

He further emphasized, "Vipul Ji, who has been elected as the new President, brings extensive experience in the IT channel ecosystem. Together, we must take UPCDWA to every corner of the region and ensure that every small and large dealer feels supported and included. Our focus will be to strengthen the foundation of the association at the grassroots level, enable growth opportunities for all members, and create a meaningful impact that reflects the true strength of this community.”

The new Management Committee represents a diverse and experienced team of IT professionals and business leaders, bringing together a wealth of expertise from multiple cities and regions across the state.

Pankaj Agarwal, outgoing President of UPCDWA, expressed his optimism about the future leadership, stating, “It has been an honor to serve as President of UPCDWA and to work alongside our committed members in strengthening the IT channel business in Uttar Pradesh. Over the years, we have focused on strengthening our partner ecosystem, facilitating knowledge sharing, and creating avenues for growth. He further added, “While the tenure of the outgoing committee comes to a close, the responsibility towards the IT ecosystem continues to grow. We have always worked with dedication for the betterment of the channel community in Uttar Pradesh, and I am confident that this collective mission will be taken forward with even greater energy and commitment by the new leadership.”

Vipul Garg, newly elected President of UPCDWA, outlined his priorities for the association’s next term: “It is a privilege to lead UPCDWA at a time when the IT channel ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh is witnessing unprecedented growth.
