The Federation of IT Associations of Gujarat officially inaugurated FITAG Tech Expo 2026 today at the Gujarat Helipad Exhibition Center in Gandhinagar, marking a strong and high energy beginning to the technology calendar for the year. The two day expo brings together the IT ecosystem from across Gujarat and India, serving as a powerful platform for collaboration, innovation, and business expansion.
Organised by FITAG, the apex body representing IT trade associations across Gujarat, the expo has been curated to strengthen industry connections, accelerate digital adoption, and create meaningful growth opportunities for channel partners, system integrators, distributors, and technology brands. The opening day witnessed enthusiastic participation from the industry, reflecting the growing importance of regional platforms in shaping the future of Indiaโs IT landscape.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by the presence of the FITAG leadership team, including Mr. Alpesh Gevaria, President, FITAG; Mr. Rakesh Kumar Patel, Vice President, FITAG; Mr. Varun Amin, General Secretary, FITAG; and Mr. Alok Ghelani, Immediate Past President, FITAG. Their collective presence reflected FITAGโs unified vision and leadership commitment towards strengthening the regional IT industry and empowering the channel ecosystem.
FITAG Tech Expo 2026 features more than 150 exhibitors, showcasing a wide spectrum of IT products, solutions, and services. The event has drawn participation from 45 plus IT associations from across Gujarat, along with delegates and partners travelling from different parts of the country. The presence of the FAIITA leadership team further reinforces the national character of the expo and underlines the spirit of industry wide collaboration.
Adding significant stature to the event, Shri Rushikeshbhai Patel, Honโble Cabinet Minister, Government of Gujarat, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, extending strong support and encouragement to the IT and technology sector. His presence highlighted the state governmentโs commitment towards fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital growth.
Further strengthening the platform, Shri Navin Gupta, President, FAIITA, attended the expo as the Guest of Honour, emphasising the importance of unified participation among national and regional IT associations and the role of the channel ecosystem in driving technology adoption across India.
As part of the opening day agenda, a panel discussion was organised to deliberate on the growth of the IT channel ecosystem, focusing on evolving market opportunities, the role of technology in driving business transformation, and the importance of collaboration in building a resilient and future-ready IT industry. The session witnessed active participation from industry leaders and served as a key knowledge-sharing forum during the expo.
With participation from over 10,000 channel partners, 250 plus national delegates, and strong engagement from leading brands, FITAG Tech Expo 2026 is positioned as a key industry gathering that reflects the collective strength and evolving ambitions of the Indian IT community. As the expo continues over January 9 and 10, it is expected to drive impactful conversations, strategic partnerships, and new opportunities that will shape the next phase of digital growth in the region and beyond.
