The Federation of Information Technology Associations of Gujarati (FITAG) successfully conducted its Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2026, bringing together Presidents, office bearers and representatives of Information Technology Associations from across Gujarat.
During the AGM, certain changes and additions were made to the existing leadership structure to further strengthen the Federation and enhance coordination among its member associations.
Mr. Alpesh Gevariya will continue to serve as the President of FITAG as part of his ongoing two-year tenure. With one year remaining in his current term, Mr. Gevariya will continue to lead FITAG with the support of the existing and newly strengthened leadership team.
Under the continued leadership of President Mr. Alpesh Gevariya, FITAG has witnessed further growth and expansion during the current year. With the addition of new member associations, the FITAG family has now grown to include 48 Associations across Gujarat.
This expansion reflects the increasing trust, unity and collective strength of the Federation and has further strengthened FITAG as a representative platform for the Information Technology industry. The growing network of member associations will also help create greater opportunities for collaboration, knowledge-sharing and collective development.
The updated team comprises experienced office bearers along with newly appointed members, bringing together continuity, experience, fresh perspectives and collective strength. The team will work towards strengthening unity among member associations, promoting professional and industry growth, encouraging knowledge-sharing and addressing common challenges faced by the IT and allied sectors.
