The Federation of All India IT Associations (FAIITA), the apex body representing the IT trade community in India, has announced its newly elected leadership team for the 2025-27 term.

The team, led by newly appointed President Mr. Navin Gupta from Patna (Krishna Agencies), is committed to fostering growth, collaboration, and innovation within India’s IT channel ecosystem. With a strong vision and mission, FAIITA aims to address key industry challenges, advocate for fair trade policies, and support IT dealers and distributors at every level.

Under the leadership of Mr. Navin Gupta, FAIITA will focus on enhancing collaboration with industry stakeholders, implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring that IT dealers and resellers in metro cities, tier-2, tier-3, and rural markets receive the necessary support to thrive. The team will also work on digital transformation efforts to empower members with the latest industry trends and opportunities.

The newly elected leadership team consists of experienced professionals who bring vast industry knowledge and a commitment to fostering transparency, growth, and unity within the IT channel ecosystem.

Navin Gupta, upon his appointment as President, expressed his commitment to driving growth and strengthening the IT channel community, stating, "It is an honor to lead FAIITA at this pivotal moment for the industry. Sanjeev Walia, the Secretary, highlighted his commitment to enhancing communication and collaboration among IT stakeholders. He said, "FAIITA has always been a strong advocate for the IT dealer community, and I look forward to working closely with our members to address challenges, drive policy initiatives, and create new growth opportunities that benefit businesses across India."

Deepak Bommisetty, the Joint Secretary, emphasized the importance of digital transformation and skill development. He remarked, "As the IT landscape continues to evolve, our focus will be on empowering dealers with the knowledge and resources they need to stay ahead. FAIITA will continue to champion initiatives that promote digital adoption, fair trade practices, and sustainable business growth."

Key Objectives & Initiatives:

1. Enhancing Channel Support to the Last Mile

  • Strengthen the IT distribution network to ensure seamless supply chain management and accessibility for dealers across metro cities, tier-2, tier-3, and rural markets.

  • Address challenges faced by small and mid-sized resellers to ensure fair competition and equal growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate with logistics partners to improve product availability, delivery efficiency, and inventory management.

  • Develop support systems for remote and underserved regions to enhance their business potential.

2. Quarterly E-Bulletin for Members

  • Publish an insightful e-bulletin every quarter, covering industry trends, technology advancements, and market insights.

  • Provide analyses of emerging policies, regulations, and government initiatives impacting the IT sector.

  • Feature success stories, case studies, and expert opinions to encourage professional growth and knowledge sharing.

3. State-Wise Leadership Meetings

  • Organize structured discussions between FAIITA and State IT Associations to address industry challenges and opportunities.

  • Establish a feedback mechanism for state representatives to voice concerns and collaborate on solutions.

  • Develop a unified strategy for advocating dealer-centric policies at the national level.

4. Monthly Office Bearer Meetings (OBM) on Zoom

  • Conduct virtual meetings every month to address industry concerns and operational challenges.

  • Ensure real-time communication, transparency, and action plans for dealer grievances and market fluctuations.

5. Advocacy & Policy Representation

  • Engage with government bodies and policymakers to protect the interests of IT dealers and distributors.

  • Promote fair trade practices and transparent business operations, ensuring fair competition for small and mid-sized businesses.

  • Advocate for better pricing structures, tax policies, and regulatory frameworks that benefit the IT industry.

6. Strengthening Vendor-Partner Relations

  • Organize vendor-dealer meetings to discuss product availability, pricing models, warranty claims, and after-sales support.

  • Negotiate exclusive deals and better trade margins for association members.

  • Address supply chain challenges such as stock shortages and price fluctuations through strategic vendor partnerships.

7. Skill Development & Training Programs

  • Conduct training sessions on emerging technologies like AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and digital marketing.

  • Provide mentorship and business development strategies for young entrepreneurs in the IT industry.

  • Collaborate with educational institutions and industry experts to enhance skill development initiatives.

8. Cybersecurity & Digital Transformation Initiatives

  • Educate IT dealers about cybersecurity threats, data protection laws, and compliance requirements.

  • Promote the adoption of digital tools, automation, and e-commerce platforms to improve operational efficiency.

  • Support businesses in transitioning to digital-first models, including cloud-based invoicing and CRM solutions.

9. Networking & Business Growth Opportunities

  • Organize national and regional expos, industry conferences, and B2B networking events.
