DT: - What’s your roadmap or strategy for the year 2017?

A: - We hope the personal cloud category of NAS-enabled storage sees more growth and adoption in the future. We have storage solutions that are completely customized to cater to this segment. Also, gaming and animation vertical is set for expansion especially in South India because of existing IT infrastructure, and we believe it to be a major growth market for us. Furthermore, initiatives like Digital India and Smart Cities have brought to the forefront an array of concerns, the primary being the need for a robust security infrastructure.

The latest offering from the WD brand’s portfolio is WD Blue SSD, WD Black SSD and WD Green SSD for Indian market for upgraded storage for high end performance.

DT: - How does your company support the Digital India program?
