“We Have Been Able To Sell Our Mono Presses To A Lot Of Copy Shop Owners And Publishers”

Konica Minolta has been always ahead in offering excellent solutions through its wide range of product folio. With excellent printing solutions for all major verticals, brand has already making its presence felt in all printing division. But its large production machines are very popular among Indian customer. The company recently at Print Pack Expo showcased large production machines and got huge response from partners and customers. Kuldeep Malhotra, Vice President, Sales, Konica Minolta Business Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. shares more about company’s experience at recent expo.

DT: How are you planning to boost the brand value of Konica Minolta in India?

Mr. Kuldeep: This is what we are looking at is to enhance the value of Konica Minolta brand. If you would have noticed we have used the Printpack venue to place our brand hoardings at strategic locations so that it is visible to visitors easily. Our products are very good and now we have to make our brand stronger. In terms of products, the company is showing the whole host of presses at its Printpack stall. It is demonstrating the MGI jetvarnish 3DS with iFOIL as well as samples of work done by Bahubal Digiglam, Printology Xperts, Dulari and PSG are on display.

DT: How has been the performance of Black and White printing segment for Konica Minolta?

Mr. Kuldeep: Konica Minolta’s share in the black and white printing segment has increased with sales of monochrome printers in 2018-19 is expected to be double the numbers seen in 2017-18. We have been able to sell our mono presses to a lot of copy shop owners and publishers. The market has been quiet good and we managed to keep our sales graph in the upward direction. From now onwards we are expecting our overall sales to further grow and want to achieve higher market share especially in India.

DT: Please brief about your flagship AccurioPress C6100?

Mr. Kuldeep: Combining high-speed colour print production with integrated finishing capabilities, the machines are designed to enable superlative print quality with high consistency and unmatched speed. The C6100 can deliver a maximum print output of 100ppm (colour and B&W), while the C3080/C3070 has a top print speed of 81 ppm (B&W) and 71ppm (colour). The C6100 can deliver a maximum print output of 100ppm (colour and B&W). AccurioPress C6100 is capable of handling a wide range of media, of varying thickness and length, and deliver unmatched print productivity, versatility, and usability. With the IQ-501 – an intelligent quality optimiser capable of real-time monitoring and adjustment of colour and front-to-back registration – available as an optional feature, the machines minimise manual intervention for high-speed, high accuracy, and high-quality print operations.

DT: Please give some insight about your participation at Printpack 2019

Mr. Kuldeep: We are very excited with the participation at Printpack 2019 as it is one of the biggest printing exhibition. We have some of our best innovations to showcase at this exhibition. This exhibition is definitely an amazing platform to demonstrate latest innovations and enhance the brand value across the world. The brand is showcasing its wide range of best-in-class offerings and cutting-edge technological innovations at the international industry event scheduled at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida. Konica Minolta is demonstrating its entire product line in colour & mono digital production printing, including the AccurioPress C6100, the AccurioPress C3080/3070, and the AccurioPress C83hc & Monochrome machine Accurio Pro 1100.
