“We Have A Network Of More Than 45000 Channel Partners All Across India”

Power supply is a very important issue in modern life as everything has become technology based and these technology products need electricity for undisrupted performance. Ltd. is the guiding force behind company’s historical journey. Mr. Jain has already planned his market strategy for year 2019 which he shared with DT in an exclusive interaction recently. 

DT: What have been the crucial milestone of your company during year 2018?

Mr. Jain: We have established our market share in stabilizer and solar panel segment. Our overall growth is very encouraging and we expect huge growth in this New Year as market sentiments have improved. The year 2018 was a very good year for us and we learned many things from this year. We managed to keep our overall performance beyond average. We are very much energised and full of confidence that we can achieve more better growth in the year 2019.

DT: What were the major challenge for your company? How do you fought those challenges?

Mr. Jain: The main challenge in the year 2018 has been the change in tax regime to GST, as to migrate into new system with all our network of channel partners has been a time taking job and the company now has successfully recovered from the slowdown impact of the event. 

DT: How do you support Government of India's 'Make-in-India' program? Do you have any suggestion for government to make this much more attractive?   

Mr. Jain: At Microtek we completely support governments 'Make in India' Program and we have been manufacturing most of our wide range of power products in India itself. To make it more attractive government must provide more incentives to the local manufacturer discouraging imports. The Make-in-India program is one of the most admired initiative taken by the government as its policies encourage domestic manufacturers to make their own product and sell within market without any fear or disturbance.

DT: What's your channel strength currently in India? How do you plan to boost channel strength in year 2019?

Mr. Jain: We have a network of more than 45000 channel partners all across India, and our sales team is continuously working on adding new partners to strengthen it further. They have been given set time bound targets to appoint and add new channel partners. Channel Partners are most important for as we achieve our sales through our channel partners only. We have complete marketing backup for our partners in terms of BRANDING IN-SHOP as well as DEALER BOARD. We organise dealer meets regularly for feedback and training. Our promotional incentive schemes are regularly awarded area by area.

DT: How do you assure your customer excellent service support? What are your investment plan to enhance service support infrastructure to cover entire India?

Mr. Jain: Microtek is the only company in India with widest network of 150 own service centers and 355 service points spread all across India empowered with trained and qualified service engineers . We keep on investing for upgrading and expanding our service footprint on a regular basis. This has been the main and unique strength for the success of Microtek Brand.
