There are very few brands in India, who are seen as true catalyst for Make in India mission which was started by Indian government few years back. There were hundreds of companies who joined this revolution to support local manufacturing. But there is one Indian brand, Digisol, who have ‘Make in India’ in their DNA as the brand is manufacturing networking products since long time. The company recently also succeeded in creating a buzz in the market by entering into enterprise cabling business by introducing ConvergeX range of products for this segment. Devendra Kamtekar, CEO, DIGISOL Systems is currently driving this new change in and shared his complete go-to-market strategy with DT in a recent interaction.   

Q: How do you see the brand’s overall business growth in CY 2019? 

A: The year 2019 has been an eventful year as we launched two new products series under our structured cabling solution- ConvergeX & ConnectIT. We are extremely overwhelmed with the response that we have received for the newly launched series. This year has been crucial for our business as we focused more on our passive product range along with active. We also introduced DITT- Digisol Institution of Technical Training program that focus on educating Partners and System Integrators community about forthcoming technologies in IT Networking Industry. We have observed 10-12% growth this year and look for to pushing bar even higher in the coming months. 

Q: What will be your overall business growth or target revenue for CY 2020?

A: 2020 looks like a year of immense opportunities as we cater to emerging opportunities in the Data Centre, Smart Cities, etc complementing new technologies like Wi-Fi6 , IoT etc. For E.g ConvergeX our Enterprise SCS & our New Active Networking Solutions along with our Industry leading FTTH GPON Solutions will help scale our business and we look at a growth of 20-25% overall. 

Q: What will be your key focused products line-up 2020?  

A: Our key focus going forward will be as follows:

  • ConvergeX SCS Series: Our Enterprise Structure Cabling Solutions that will cater to PoE, Data Centre & New technologies like Wi-Fi 6 etc 
  • FTTH GPON: Our industry leading solution offering that will help address the Bandwidth hungry enterprises, Service Providers & End Consumers 
  • Enterprise Active Networking Solutions: Catering to Smart Cities, Data Centre & Enterprise Customer Requirements e.g. Industrial Ethernet Switching, Wi-Fi, etc. 

Q: What will be your channel strategy to drive substantial growth?  

A: Digisol has predominantly a Channel Driven organization and we share very strong bonding with our partners. However, considering that we are also going to focus on Enterprise, our channel strategy is to build and scale Enterprise Channel strength. We would be having 1 to 2 ND’s and RD’s in every state catering to our Enterprise Active & Passive Solutions (ConvergeX). This would be in addition to our existing 200 active partners across the country. 

Q: How do take care of service support commitment for your loyal customers?  

A: We are proud to say that we have a legacy of 25 years in India and one of the leading Indian Networking Brand that are flag bearers of “Make in India” and the first one to do so. We have invested in our business and have a vast service support footprint to ensure it’s easier for our customers to reach out to us. Digisol offers first-rate integrated after-sale-service and support, which consists of Service Centers, and Digisol Technical Assistance Centre (DTAC). We have widespread network of 63 Service centers across India and highly skilled professionals that offer excellent state-of-the-art services to the customers. We have been offering in house Level 4 Support to customer.
