We Are Going to Train Our Regional Distributors to be Our First Line Support

AXILSPOT is a startup which aims to rapidly increase its presence in the market. As India is a very important country for them, they had started investing in Indian market by establishing offices & hiring manpower in India. Pinaki Chatterjee, Regional Director, India & SAARC, AXILSPOT reveals his entire channel plans for Indian market.

DT: - What have been the key highlights of your company during the year 2016?

A:- Being a Start-up, 2016 was a roller-coaster ride for us. We were pushing hard to achieve new milestones in a short timeframe to ensure our readiness in the global market from beginning of 2017 onwards. Meanwhile in the same time, we have introduced AXILSPOT innovation; Rscan Smart Antenna Technology based wireless access points, which deliver high density as well as coverage.

DT: - What is the central force which keeps partners and consumers loyal to your brand?

A:- AXILSPOT is a young brand with endless possibilities in enterprise wireless segment; we entered in the market at the right time with right spirit. We already got India operations setup, kick-starting me joining as a Regional Director and now streamlining India office. Post January 2017, support team will also be highly effective. We have already signed up with few strategic business partners as well as regional distributors to ensure local and smooth availability of our products. At the back-end, in headquarters, we have a strong software development and R&D team to take care of every project needs. We have made right mix of anything and everything for System Integrators, IT Consultants or Solution Providers who are looking for customized (tailor-made) solutions. We are also offering stable products based on Qualcomm Atheros chipset.

DT: - Is your company engaged in any Govt. projects specifically under the Digital India program?

A:- Yes, we are currently engaged in few large projects related to Digital India valued at approx. more than USD 24 Million but all of them are in seeding stage so it would not be appropriate to disclose details until we close and implement them successfully.

DT: - What’s your roadmap or strategy for the year 2017?

A:- AXILSPOT has already started operations in China and now in India in 2016, we have a local office, local infrastructure, local team and local support. In 2017, we will focus on building up our channel strength by appointing distributors across the country. Our plan is also to expand to other geographies such as, Russia, US, MEA and few more countries. We’ll make sure to have a local team setup in each of these countries. In the coming year, it will largely be a year of expansion and reaching out to customers with best of the WLAN solution AXILSPOT must offer. We are sure people and masses will witness a lot around in WiFi domain.

DT: - What is your assurance for providing excellent service support to your customer?

A:- India is an important market for us. We had setup our office even before brand launch in India, already started expanding our team, to start with national product manager will join this  in January at the same time we will also take regional head counts. We are going to train our regional distributors to be our first line support for warranty etc to ensure quick resolution. At the same time we will run country wide SI training programs to ensure our partner are well versed with our products. Also we are considering tie-ups nationally for after sales installation service. So there are many steps in process for customer’s excellent brand experience.
