Process Nine Unveils Multilingual Keyboard “MOX Words” for Android

Process9 announced the launch of MOX Words, easy to use 22 regional Indian Languages Keypad for Android smartphones. MOX Words is the first Keypad to implement Government notified tri-lingual formula so that phones with MOX Words keypad can be used in the 3 prevalent languages of any region across the country. Recently MEITY (Ministry of Electronics & IT) notified mandatory requirements of supporting mobile phones with at least 1 regional language along with English and Hindi.

According to Vidushi Kapoor, COO of Process Nine Technologies, “We aim to reach out to more than 1 billion Indians who do not speak English and primarily communicate in their own native language. With MOX Words, we intend to help bridge the linguistic digital divide in the country and empower citizens with power of communication and access to information. MOX Words has been launched in 22 official (Scheduled) Indian languages & English with a unique layout “MOX Saral”. Saral displays all regional letters and matras in one screen and makes it easy for any Android phone user to enter messages in their language for conversational use on SMS, Whatsapp, Hike, Facebook etc. MOX Words, a feature rich keypad can be used with any Android app. It also helps users browse thousands of Indian language web sites on the Internet.

“Even before its formal launch, MOX Words has been bundled by many Indian smartphone companies such as Intex, iBall, Lava, Ziox and others in over 9 million Android phones already. MOX Words is already the largest used and most preferred Indian Language Keypad for Android phones in the world.” says Rakesh Kapoor, CEO of Process9.

“Many keypad apps that come bundled on smartphones as well as those available for free download on Google Play store collect and use messages typed and entered through them for purposes unknown to the user. All text & messages entered in MOX Words keypad are safe and private. You can use MOX Words without any fear of losing your privacy” adds Rakesh Kapoor.

MOX Words will now be available on Google Play store and Intex App store for download. MOX Words supports Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, Assamese, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu, Bodo, Dogri, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Manipuri, Nepali, Sanskrit, Santali and Sindhi languages besides English.
