Wishing the Modi government the best for effective implementation of the agri, rural, fiscal, and socially focused budget. The only healthcare related component of the budget, that remotely addresses healthcare, is health insurance, while there is no commitment to improving healthcare services or creating a greatly improved infrastructure for healthcare. The rural population is highly underserved for healthcare needs and we must invest in an 'Aarogyashali Bharat' along with 'Swachchha Bharat'. We cannot wait too long to establish a state-of-the-art health infrastructure across India.
